Barbara Rey has had an interesting career in the entertainment world, diverse in every sense of the word. A former Miss Madrid, she was a popular model in her time, gracing many television shows with her appearance, and eventually working in a circus with her ex-husband, Angel Cristo. Making her debut in 1969, in the film "Vida Sigue Igual", she made a rather notable impact in "Noche de los Brujos" as the vicious leopard vampiress who savagely and somewhat erotically lures the female expedition members to the clearing and ultimately provides the sorcerers with additional victims, who eventually end up vampires like herself.. Appearing in the memorable opening sequence, she is kidnapped from her missionary group and taken to the sorcerers clearing, where she witnesses the beginning of their voodoo ceremony. Although a search party is sent out in hopes of rescuing her, they arrive too late, and in vain, massacre the entire group of sorcerers in an act of vengeance. They do not witness, however, the horrifying transformation that occurs on the altar. When she captures her victims, she depicts a gleeful sadism that must be seen to be believed...and, she certainly looks sassy in her leopard print mini-dress too, if I may say so myself.
